You want to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the northern mountainous region and experience the magnificence of the mountains, caves, waterfalls, etc. This tour is for you. One of the four largest international waterfalls in the world, and certainly one of the most well-known in Vietnam, is the Ban Gioc Waterfall. Travelers from all over the world have been flocking there in recent years to take in its distinctively peculiar natural beauty.
DAY 1: HANOI – MAT THAN MOUNTAIN (THUNG MOUNTAIN) – BAN GIOC WATERFALL ( L, D)
06:30 – 06:55: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
07:00: Depart Hanoi and begin your scenic journey to Ban Gioc Waterfall – one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in Asia, and among the few waterfalls in the world that straddle two countries (Vietnam and China).
12:45: Arrive in Quang Uyen Town, Cao Bang Province. Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, continue to Mat Than Mountain (Thung Mountain), located in Tra Linh District. This unique mountain features a circular hole in the middle, giving it the name “God’s Eye Mountain” – a natural wonder perfect for photos and exploration.
Next, travel to Ban Gioc Pagoda, offering panoramic views of Ban Gioc Waterfall from above and a clear view of the Vietnam–China border.
16:45: Check in at a hotel near Ban Gioc Waterfall. Relax and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.
18:30: Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Overnight: Hotel near Ban Gioc Waterfall.
DAY 2: BAN GIOC WATERFALL – NGUOM NGAO CAVE – HANOI ( B, L)
07:30: Enjoy breakfast and check out from the hotel.
08:00: Visit Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave) – a spectacular natural limestone cave with stunning stalactites and stalagmites that stretch for several kilometers.
09:00: Head to Ban Gioc Waterfall for a closer look. This magnificent waterfall cascades down layers of limestone, creating a dramatic and unforgettable scene. You’ll have time to explore and take photos.
12:00: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Quang Uyen Town.
After lunch, board the bus and begin your return journey to Hanoi.
19:00: Arrive back in Hanoi. End of the tour.
