8.30 pick up at your hotel, start the tour on to beautiful Tran Quoc Pagoda located on the shores of West Lake and visit to Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house – where he lived on and off from 1958 to 1969. The next place to move to is One Pillar Pagoda – a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake. Leave the Pagoda for the Temple of Literature – the first college of Vietnam and the place dedicating to Confucian. Then we pass by the well-known Hanoi train street for photo stop if you wish.
Lunch served at a local restaurant for a taste of authentic Hanoi cuisine.
Continue to visit the interesting Ethnology Museum. Located west of the city centre, this museum offer informative and well-documented display on the country’s 54 ethnic groups, include elaborate and colorful hill-tribe costumes, weaving designs, musical instruments, fishing implements, work tools and other functional objects. The display continues on to the garden outside with fascinating examples of minority housing from the King’s to the ones of the ethnic groups in Central Highlands.
Take 1 hour-cyclo tour around Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) and the Old Quarter through its streets, that are named after the guilds that used to represent such as Hang Bac (Silver Street), Hang Gai (Silk Street), Hang Tre (Bamboo Street) etc…
Optional : enjoy watching a water puppet show instead, this is a unique traditional performance of Vietnam
